中世ヨーロッパ発祥の製本方法、Long Stitch Bindingで製本した贅沢なノートブック。
糊を使っていないため、開きが良く書きやすい、ハンドメイドならではの使い心地。
写真をコラージュしてアルバムにしたり、旅先のお供にして旅日記にしたり。

A high-quality notebook bound using long stitch binding,
a bookmaking method originated in Medieval Europe.
The method does not use any glue, which helps the Notebook open flat to provide a smooth surface for writing.
Only handcrafting can achieve such ease of use.
The Notebook can also be used as an album for a travel photo collage
or a travel diary while you go on a trip.
Some customers use it as a recipe book as well as a record book to keep precious moments of their growing children.
Your ideas make the notebook one-of-a-kind !

2011年の初個展で初お披露目した際、
沢山のお客さまにご好評いただいたパスポートケース。
時代は流れ、紙のチケットがQRコードに変わり、
スケジュールはiphoneの中に…とデジタル化しましたが、
旅先ですぐに確認したり提示が必要になるものは、
やはり手に取れる形にして持っていたい。
贅沢に革を使いながらも、
ポケット生地にはイギリスのファブリックやメンズのスーツ生地を使ったりと
遊び心を加えたデザイン。
また安心して海外を飛び回ることのできる世の中を描きながら、
将来の旅のプランを立てる時間も豊かなものですよね！

Lopi passport cases were introduced at my very first solo exhibition in 2011.
Customers love them!
Times are changing as we move to the digital world
paper boarding passes have been replaced by QR codes,
and our trip itineraries now flash on our smartphones …
But, it still feels good to have important items in our hands when we need to refer to them or present them.
Lopi combines our highest quality leather with fabrics from the UK
or men’s suit pieces that become pockets, for a playful look.
Traveling enriches us so much.

OlieveOilのお勉強会@cucina13Aprile

お気に入りのイタリアンcucina13Aprileで、OlieveOilのお勉強会と、そのそれぞれのOilに合うイタリアンをいただけるという素敵な機会。友人と参加してきました。まず驚いたことは、そのままOilをいただくとかなりピリッと辛みがあるということ！その辛みの元は、Olieveの品種の１つ、レッチーノだそうです。初めてじっくりと、OlieveOilについて思いながら、素人ながらも五感を研ぎ澄ませつつそれぞれの特徴を感じました。普段無意識に手に取って買っていたOlieveOil。これからちょっぴりこだわりや興味が湧きそうです。先生も、いかにもイタリアが似合う雰囲気の快活な女性でした。「OlieveOilありきで、それに合わせてメニューを考える。というのは初めてだった。」という日高シェフのお料理。色彩も、全てグリーンを意識されたとのこと。うだるような暑さの日本の夏を、イタリアの爽やかな風が吹き抜けた一日でした。
